We think: The state Supreme Court was right to toss out three flawed amendments
One thing you can say for the folks who proposed reforming Florida's tax and budget system -- they're batting better than .500. That's excellent if you're a baseball player, but sorely lacking if your goal was to change -- and presumably improve -- Florida's taxing and budgeting practices.

Reform Commission: Opportunity Wasted in Florida
The official seal of the Florida Supreme Court is set directly under the court's rotunda. In it is the court's motto: "Sat Cito Si Recte." Translated from Latin: "Soon enough if correct." The court's unanimous decision to remove three amendments from the November ballot came soon enough indeed.
